KayJay strives to create real music for people who are looking for something with more substance than your ‘run-of-the-mill’ Pop/RnB. Bringing the Fun back to Funky but with a no nonsense attitude.

Desperate and growing ever so weary of today’s so-called rnb melodies I went on the  hunt praying to the music gods, My aprayers was answered I came across this soul artist KayJay she takes me back to when real rnb, soul, funk, swing, which was blazing the radio and dancefloor back in my dayz. I took in her forthcoming “Intuition” EP rich with tracks created to leave a lasting impression, each song entails an powerful voice with a chicly style.

Pay close attention to the catchy lyrics and oldschool swingbeat flavor of “Natural High” she takes it back to music. “Hold On You” continues the vibes flowing  with nice rnb uptempo groove very catchy. We move over to this funk in your face feet stomping track “This Feeling” she really gets down. The title track of EP “Intuition” is a midtempo flavor which make me feel happy knowing that there are still artists willing to make real soul/rnb music.

Next up is one of my favourite tracks “You Shoulda Never “ bumping uptempo jam with kinda influence of the track Montell Jordan This Is How We Do It track. On “Paradise” she sing soft, with that unique voice, her lyrics are easy to understand which makes the song easier to experience. “Nothing Going On” is remix nice oldskool funky beat would like to know what the original sounds like.

I was pleasantly impressed and surprised by what I heard because the way the music industry putting quantity over quality out who knows . That why i believe that the real artists with high-quality music are underground and unsigned. What immediately impressed me was the sheer sound quality of the tracks, each track offers a completely different sound and flavor. Many of them I would place within the R&B sound category along the neo soul sound range. Yet, there are elements of funky beats that weave their way throughout. STAND UP KAYJAY NEO2SOUL SALUTES YOU!!!!!!!!
