Robert Ball has been described as a soulful singer, rooted in gospel with classic jazz sensibilities.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, this soulful singer was surrounded by a musical and artistic family he began his training at ‘Claude Watson School for the Arts‘ (much like ‘Fame‘) at age 9.

Upon completing the program Robert continued his musical involvement as a member of various community choirs, concerts and events.

He also became a sought after session singer, background vocalist and soloist, recording with local artists such as Lori Nuic (producer: Saukrates), Promise and Pastor Richard Brown.

Since moving to America, Robert Ball has become a rising star in the hottest New York music rooms such as Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson’sThe Sugar Bar”, “Village Underground”, Harlem’s “Billie’s Black” and the historic Triad Theatre.

Robert has sung bgv’s for indie artists Patricia Shirley, Lori Nuic, Kevin Anthony as well as major artists such as Kim Burrell.

He has also shared the stage with Mary Mary, CeCe Winans, Tonex and Fred Hammond to name a few. Robert has also traveled the Caribbean, Europe, Egypt and Dubai as a performer in various Broadway style revue shows.
